We understand the pain of cancelling a trek. As trekkers, we always look forward to treks, and after months of training and planning, if we have to cancel our trek, there’s no greater disappointment than that. This is why we have a trekker-friendly cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy for Individuals:
- For cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the expedition’s start date, participants are entitled to either a 90% refund or the option to transfer 100% of their payment towards a future expedition.
- For cancellations made between 60-30 days prior to the expedition’s start date, participants are entitled to either an 80% refund or the option to transfer 90% of their payment towards a future expedition.
- For cancellations made between 30-10 days prior to the expedition’s start date, participants are entitled to either a 50% refund or the option to transfer 75% of their payment towards a future expedition.
- For cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the expedition’s start date, participants are entitled to either a 10% refund or the option to transfer 25% of their payment towards a future expedition.
In the event of service cancellation for any avoidable or unavoidable reasons, it is required that we, BOOTS & CRAMPONS PRIVATE LIMITED, are notified in writing at mail@bootsandcrampons.com with the options you’d like to go for. Refunds, as outlined above, will be processed based on the total fare and issued within 5-7 working days upon receipt of the written cancellation notice.
In the rare event that we cancel a trek:
We almost never cancel our treks. But in the rare event that we cancel a trek because of natural calamities (snowstorms, thunderstorms, floods, landslides, earthquakes) or unexpected political unrest, curfews, local riots, or government orders, BOOTS & CRAMPONS will issue a voucher for the full amount of your trek fee. You can redeem the Trek Voucher on any of our treks over the next one year.
