Lansdowne is a charming hill station that still retains its colonial character. Nestled in the Himalayas, it offers an unspoiled expanse of lush greenery with oak and pine forests, as well as colonial-era buildings. The town is a popular destination for birdwatchers, casual hikers, and weekend travelers.

Located at an altitude of 1,700 meters, Lansdowne inspires the hiker within you. Its strategic location also makes it a starting point for various treks into the surrounding hills, ranging from short hikes lasting a few hours to more challenging climbs that span 2–3 days.

We have curated an exciting experiential itinerary for this stunning destination. During the trip, you’ll enjoy guided day hikes to picturesque locations, soak in the Himalayan beauty, and create unforgettable memories with your friends and family.

This travel plan is specifically designed for beginners, children, and elderly travelers, and includes comfortable accommodation options for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrival followed by lunch. Enjoy executive time in the afternoon, then unwind with a musical evening, bonfire, and dinner.


Day 2
Trek to Bhairon Garhi with a scenic picnic lunch at the site. Return to the resort for executive time. The evening features a karaoke night, bonfire, and dinner.


Day 3
Start the day with yoga and meditation, followed by breakfast. Trek to Lansdowne for a heritage walk through the town. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Bhulla Taal, then trek back to the resort. Evening includes executive time, a musical evening, bonfire, and dinner.


Day 4
Morning trek into the Corbett jungle, with tea served in a nearby village. Return to the resort for breakfast and executive time before departure.

THINGS TO PACK

For Your Head:

  • Woolen warm cap to protect against cold winds
  • Balaclava for extra warmth
  • Bandana (can be used as a sweatband or to cover your face from dust)

For Your Feet:

  • 4-5 pairs of regular socks
  • 1-2 pair of thick woolen socks for warmth
  • Trekking boots with ankle support and good grip
  • Extra pair of comfortable sneakers or shoes to wear at the Tea House

For Your Hands:

  • 1-2 pairs of warm inner gloves
  • 1 pair of waterproof gloves to keep your hands dry
  • Hand warmers (optional, but useful in very cold weather)
  • A pair of fleece gloves for extra insulation
