MEET OUR TEAM
The mountain teaches that not everything in this world can be rationally explained.
It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.
Mountains are not stadiums where I satisfy my ambition, they are the cathedrals where I practice my religion.
What people say about us
EXCELLENT Based on 438 reviews Posted on Google veena singhTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The trek exceeded our expectations. It was extremely well organized, with a highly supportive team both online and offline. Mr. Giri was an excellent guide throughout the journey. The best part was that not even for a moment did we feel unsafe. As a group of three women trekking through the wilderness for five days, we always felt secure and well cared for by the support team. Looking forward for more such fun treks with you guys. Thanks for being there 😊Posted on Google pooja joshiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was our second experience with BNC, and once again, it truly lived up to our expectations. A special thanks to Rommil, because of whom I felt confident enough to send my son alone for the EBC trek. Heartfelt thanks as well to Rachit and Sagar for their constant support, motivation, and encouragement throughout the journey. Their positive spirit and guidance truly helped Taksh, especially during the Kala Patthar climbPosted on Google devansh nangiaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went for Friendship Peak May 2026 with B&C. Exceptional experience. They left no stone unturned to make us feel welcomed, whether it was about the food or the tents or anything else. I will definitely plan my future treks with them!Posted on Google Ankit GuptaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing experience. We were a batch of 4 and kept worrying that B&C might cancel because of a small batch, but they just went over and above with the arrangements in ensuring that we have a great experience. The onground team is amazing and will ensure the best while trekking, including all other aspects while you're not climbing as wellPosted on Google Pooja AhlawatTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One of the main reasons for deciding to go with B & C is the relationship we have developed with Bharat & Romil, founders of the company since EBC.We have become good friends .We with guides, porters and other supporting staff, took the first step towards Mt Kilimanjaro around 1 PM on 21-07-2024 from the Lemosho gate. Well, the long awaited trek was finally on. The first day was a short walk in the rain forest. I wouldn’t say it was a walk in the park but definitely no strain on the body either. The tents were already setup by the time we nine with the guides reached the camp. The arrangements were superb. The tents were equipped with mattresses and sleeping bags and large enough to accommodate two people with all their backpacks .The dinning tent was comfortable with tables and chairs The food was a pleasant surprise, Indian food of that quality in Tanzania that too high in the mountains was just unimaginable. Hats off to the chef.Soon the day for summiting approached. We reached Barafu Camp around 1PM on the 26th. We were briefed by Romil that the summit trek would start at midnight. We were asked to sleep for two hours after lunch, and another 3 hours after dinner ,which wasn’t that easy. None of us had more than two hours sleep before the wakeup call at 11PM. Finally it was at 12:30AM on the 27th that we started on the final ascent of Mt Kilimanjaro. I was so sleep deprived ,that right from the first step, I was faltering. Rest of the team went ahead leaving me with two guides Cheetah and Innocent. Finally one hour after the sunrise which in itself was worth all the trouble, I could lay my eyes on the crater ring of Kilimanjaro. To my pleasant surprise the rest of the team were just few yards ahead, as even some of them had sleep deprivation problem. Mt Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano. The crater ring of the volcano is considered as summit of the mountain.. We reached Stella point and then went to Uhru peak which is the highest point on the crater ring and is the highest point in the African continent. Finally we summited Mt Kilimanjaro which was visible to us for the last 5 days all along the route. The descent was just a matter of two days. The 17Km’s after Barafu camp was just a walk in the park. After collecting our certificates from the Kilimanjaro National park authorities and a quick lunch at MWEKA gate, we were back to the comfort of hotel in Moshi. The next day morning after distribution of the certificates and Medals, we were off to the Kilimanjaro airport . Now in the cozy comfort of home when I look back at the 10 days trip of Kilimanjaro trying to recollect the most important aspect that made it memorable, is it the sheer magnificence of the mountain that appeared so near and yet so far, every minute of the trek. Is it the presence of my family, daughter Poorvaja, son Pardhav and Grandson Anuraag, is it the presence of my good friends and constant companions in all the treks Prabhakara Rao, Goplala Krishna and Gowtham, is it the presence of Romil who in the course of last 10 months has become a dear friend, is it the presence of Aaron, Romil’s elder daughter who for her 18 years is all of grace and knowledge, or is it the infectious confidence that Romil exuded. All of these definitely made the trip very enjoyable. But, it is the guides, porters, Kitchen staff and other supporting staff assembled by B & C that made the trip really memorable. Gola, the pace setter, Simon the boss, Paulo, Doctor, Innocent, Brian, Cheeta, Colmondo, Adam, just to name a few were the people who made our every day trek and every night at the camp comfortable and enjoyable. They all look contented and happy every moment. Their Joy and smiles are so genuine and infectious. Hats off to B & C and Romil in particular for assembling such a great supporting team. Finally big thanks to Romil for giving us a memorable summit. A bigger thanks to my daughter Poorvaja who was my pace setter. Her pace was pole pole to pole pole. She ,with her pace ,made sure that I got properly acclimatised and completed the trek without any AMS symptoms .Posted on Google Ruchi RTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was my first experience with Boots and Crampons.. I did my EBC trek with me which was my bucket list item and B&C ensured that I had great experience. All the arrangements were superb from all the transfers in and out of Kathmandu, all the enroute stays/meals on EBC trek were very well taken care of. The trek leader and trek guides were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout.. looking forward to trekking in future with them again!Posted on Google Milan SinghTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. And all the arrangements were top notch ❤️❤️❤️Posted on Google Shri PurushothamanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Standing at 5,364 meters, surrounded by the towering giants of the Himalayas, you realise that the EBC trek is rarely just about the destination—it is about the souls who carry you there and the boots that hit the dust beside yours. Our journey with Boots and Crampons was nothing short of a masterclass in adventure, heart, and planning. From the moment we landed, the "all-inclusive" promise wasn’t just a logistical checklist; it was a blanket of security. Boots and Crampons took care of the complexities so we could focus on the thin air and the thick bonds being formed. Whether it was the the tea houses or the seamless transitions between trails, every detail felt curated. The pinnacle of this luxury was our VIP Tent at Base Camp. In a place where most are roughing it, we found ourselves celebrating our achievement with a cake-cutting ceremony—a surreal, joyous moment of indulgence amidst the rugged Khumbu glacier. Neeti: The Heart and the Compass If the trek had a heartbeat, it was Neeti. Leading a large, diverse group through the unpredictable Himalayan terrain is a feat of logistics, but leading them with grace is a feat of character. Neeti is a powerhouse of inspiration. She didn’t just manage the group; she nurtured it. Her ability to balance the technical demands of the trail with a genuine, infectious warmth made every grueling ascent feel possible. She is, quite simply, the best leader and guide one could ask for. We were never alone on those ridges. A massive shoutout to our four Dais, the backbone of our expedition. Their strength is legendary, but it was their kindness that stayed with us. • Lima Dai & Tashi Dai: Thank you for your watchful eyes and steady hands. Your guidance was our safety net, and your presence was our constant encouragement. They say EBC is a test of attrition, and it’s rare for a large group to see every single member stand at the rock of Base Camp. Yet, against the odds, our entire group made it. This 10/10 experience was forged in the laughter of a fantastic group of people who started as strangers and ended as a family. The camaraderie was the fuel that got us through the Khumbu icefall views and the steep climbs of Namche Bazaar. To Neeti, Bharath, and Romil—thank you for the precision, the passion, and the memories. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Same trails, same incredible group, and always, always led by Neeti and the Boots and Crampons.Posted on Google Ajit ChaudhuriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went on the Jashn-e-Gurez trek from Dawar (Gurez) to Patalwan Lake and back on 8-14 August 2021 organized by Boots and Crampons. Some thoughts include - One - the trek is beautiful, as is Lake Patalwan (the destination)! Adding to the beauty was that this is off the beaten track (being along the line of control) and therefore we did not have large numbers of trekking groups doing the route (we were the only one). And, broadly, the weather held! Two - the arrangements were excellent! We had three hot meals a day on most days, including wazwaan food. There were sufficient guides along the path to provide individual support to those who required it on the difficult stretches. And we were led by quality people - of a much higher standard that usual trek leaders. Problems did take place (as in all treks), and they were handled without the trekkers being directly affected. Three - it was remarkably easy on the pocket. Four - the trekkers were from different age groups and backgrounds, and everyone managed to find people they could connect with. I did the trek along with my wife and adult son, and we are grateful to Boots and Crampons for giving us the opportunity to visit a part of the country that few would know about, forget about travel in.
