The Hampta Circuit Trek is an offbeat Himalayan adventure in Himachal Pradesh, beginning in Jagatsukh, approximately 7 km from Manali. Unlike the popular Hampta Pass Trek, this route explores a quieter part of the region, taking trekkers through forest trails, mountain meadows, rocky terrain, and scenic high-altitude landscapes.
The journey begins with a gradual ascent from Jagatsukh towards Bogi, followed by trails through forests and open meadows to Sarotu and Kharmandari. The highlight of the trek is the ascent to Sethan Dome at 4,200 metres, where trekkers can enjoy panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges, weather permitting.
The circuit concludes with a descent from Sarotu to Jobri, followed by a drive back to Manali. With camping in remote mountain settings and a route away from the busier trekking trails, this trek offers an opportunity to experience a quieter side of the Himalayas.
Note: Prices mentioned are applicable for Indian passport holders. For foreign passport holders, the cost may vary. Please connect with the Boots & Crampons team for clarity.
Note: An indemnity document will be shared before the trek. Signing it is mandatory.
