OVERVIEW
Hampta Circuit Trek is a lesser-known but stunning trekking route in Himachal Pradesh, nestled in the northern region of India. Often mistaken for the popular Hampta Pass Trek, this trail is entirely different and begins from Jagatsukh, a village located about 7 km southwest of Manali.
This moderate trek is perfect for both beginners and experienced trekkers. It winds through lush forests, glistening streams, high-altitude meadows, and snow-covered peaks, offering an unforgettable experience amidst the majestic Pir Panjal range. The highest point of the trek is Sethan Dome, standing tall at 4,200 meters.
Starting from Jagatsukh (2,050 meters), the trail gradually ascends through dense oak and pine forests, opening up to expansive mountain views. As you progress, the terrain becomes more rugged and rocky, rewarding you with panoramic vistas of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. For those seeking a scenic and offbeat adventure, the Hampta Circuit Trek is a perfect choice.
