OVERVIEW
Himachal Pradesh offers utterly beautiful and one of the unexplored hiking trails in India. We’ve been exploring new regions and have come up with a highly customized journey feature the fun of three hikes in one trip around Manali. The trip includes three of the most beautiful spots in Kullu, namely Mangankot summit, Bijli Mahadev temple and Lamadugh.
Mangankot (3560 Meters) is a unique formation on the old Manali mountain, that is clearly visible from the left bank of Manali. The trail follows the Manalsu Nullah, as it meanders through thick pine and deodar forests. Our second spot, Bijli Mahadev temple (2460 Meters), is one of the most well-known Shiva temples of the country. An easy, single day hike leads to a vast area offering spectacular views. Lamadugh (3020 Meters), our final destination, is a deserted alpine plateau. On the way you can also spot peaks like Indrasan, Deo Tibba, as well as the Bara Shigri glacier.

PREPARATION GUIDE
- This is a beginner level trek. Thus, you don’t need any special training or previous experience
- You shall just be fit, healthy and willing to make effort.
- Training for a week or two would be enough. That too if you don’t indulge in physical exercise at all.
- Walk uphill or stairs steps with a back pack.
- It’s be great if you build a healthy amount of cardiovascular endurance. Jogging is the best exercise to increase your stamina.
